Help our candidate for Congress!

Our own Greg Howard is willing to make a run for Congress in the democratic primary in the 6th congressional district! This will be a way to get our ideas out more broadly to the public. Greg is gathering the signatures required to get his name on the ballot and could use some help.

 

The 6th district stretches from Ironton and Jackson along the Ohio River all the way past Steubenville to Cadiz and Lisbon, including only two townships in Athens County, namely Carthage and Troy.

 

Bill Safranek will be leading a group to provide help next Saturday, gathering signatures in the Pomeroy, Middleport area.

If you would like to join in this important effort, either call Bill (592-5025) to arrange to carpool or caravan, or join him at the parking lot of Wendy’s in Pomeroy at 10 a.m. on Saturday. (Head south to Pomeroy on Rt. 33 and turn right when you come to the River. Wendy’s will be on your right.) Signatures need to be filed by Feb. 5, so there is no time to waste.
